V is back, so I am dating myself but what did you think of the remake?

I am too scared to watch it. The original has a special place in my heart.

The Girl that seems to be the Main char of the aliens is the same chick that was on the last few seasons of Stargate SG-1. SHE IS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'm too young (har har) to have seen the original, but they had the pilot previewed at Comic Con earlier this year, and I did manage to catch that one.

If no one minds me saying... it felt waaaay too long, and there were too many elements introduced and attempted to be woven together to actually start the series proper. I probably would've been more into it if I hadn't sat through two other pilots also, but that's another thing.

Also: Steve the Pirate. ;D

Really? You don't think of him as Wat from a Knight's Tale or Wash from Serenity?

I love that part.

Also, V seemed interesting. I may give it a few more episodes to decide.

Firefly = best show EVER. PERIOD. No commentary allowed. Had to laugh when Nathan Fillian dressed as a "space cowboy" in the Halloween episode of Castle.

And I think of Steve the Pirate as Alpha from Dollhouse.

Alpha FTW. In fact Dollhouse FTW. Let's go back a step further and declare Joss Whedon as supreme.

Joss Whedon is awesome for making Firefly and Serenity. But I am not a fan of Dollhouse or Buffy.

I like Dollhouse. The episodes seem to be hit and miss though. It's a Must-Watch-on-Hulu-After-I've-Watched-The-Must-Watches...

Not a fan of Dollhouse but I was on with Buffy for the first 2 or 3 seasons. Also the first X-men movie was pretty good....minus Hally Berry.....but that's not Joss's fault.

I watched the original "V" in English class my sophomore year of high school. My teacher LOVED the series so he had us watch it. I watched the pilot episode today on Hulu...looks good so far!
